Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
